Caly bent over her desk in the Blue House, scribbling things down on a piece of paper. She needed to get camp activities planned, organize the jobs list for the week, do cabin clean-up checks, check the armory, and a thousand other things. Willow, the activities director, as well as Cody who was in charge of the infirmary, had both disappeared. In fact, a lot of demigods had disappeared or left. And without Willow and Cody, she was in charge of everything. She had hardly slept since she had gotten back.
Sighing, she gathered up the papers and headed outside, trying to decide what to do next. "I really need to hire another activities director." She muttered.

(Sorry for the late return. I didn't see much interesting and homework is killing me! I love the site, though!)
Lamia scribbled down some notes in her small leather bound book, resting on the roof of the Blue house. He share green eyes narrowed as she shook her head, reordering the combination of plants. There were many antidotes that could be made from her knowledge. Poison was nothing against her. She would collect them all, understand them all, and make new.
The snake daemon was confident in her skills, and found herself drifting into the infirmary many times just to help out the Apollo kids. It was much more peaceful out of Lycaeus's nagging and annoying. Losing her temper all the time couldn't be healthy.

(it's cool, and yeah, so do I!)
Looking up, Caly spotted Lamia on the top of the Blue House. She was one of the snake daemons, and stayed at camp. She was also good at healing, and Caly had found her in the infirmary many times. "Lamia." She greeted, calling up to her.

Lamia blinked her green eyes at the sound of her name, raising her head of unnatural lime green hair. She blinked down at the owner of the voice, who happened to be Caly, one of the workers at camp. She was familiar with her since she often helped around with paperwork from the infirmary.
Silently, she shut her book and slid her pencil in the rings of the binding. She slipped down the roof with ease, landing on the ground softly. "Hello." She said shortly and politely in greetings to the camper.

"So, you doing well?" She inquired, mainly to keep from any awkward silence. She closed her notebook, sticking the pencil in the coil binding. Papers were sticking out, and she needed to organize it, but first she'd have to find the time.

"La~mia!" The cheerful voice shattered the calm morning air as the wolf daemon spun into view, doing flips energetically. He landed safely in front of the two, displaying a grin that was wide enough to catch the glint of the sun on his fangs. He had gotten his silver hair cut short, which seemed to gleam a little since it was more of a sleek gray than white. "Oh, hello Caly! Been busy?"

She snorted. "That's an understatment. Since both Willow and Cody disappeared, I'm having to do both their jobs. It's not that I mind, it's just a lot to do. And being gone for 6 months, there's a lot of catching up to do as well."

Ginger strode into the room and quickly walked over to the minifridge, reaching inside she pulled out one of Mr. D's infamous Coke bottles and began to slowly drink it. Turning around she looked at the trio, her lips quirking up into a small smile, "Makes you wish we had Mr. D back doesn't it? He was a crappy Activities Director but he did keep things running..." She trailed off.
Word was that Dionysus was indeed to return to Camp Half-Blood. Only problem was, that no one, not even the gods really knew where he was. He was currently MIA as the mortals called it. Something that wasn't unheard of from the wine god.

(Hate to bump the thread, but...) "Um, hello?" Scott poked his head in the Blue house. He had not met one person at Camp Half-Blood yet, and was curious when he heard voices. He just HAD to see if anyone else was here.

Turning to look at the newcomer she smiled before taking another sip of her coke, "Hi, how can we help you?" She asked, turning to look at Caly with a questionning glance. She hadn't seen him at camp before. Had Caly?
(S'okay ^.^)

(OMG so sorry! I never replied!)
Lamia~ The snake daemon raised her brows at Caly, wondering how to reply, "Actually, it's been pleasant." No more no less, really. She shrugged and looked around. "Well, Chiron's been busy as well. I wonder if it's going to settle down soon. Holly reported that Ouranos released the gods- after the campers."
As if her point was proven, Ginger strolled in. They had all been worried and planning to break her free when she had just... returned easily. Lamia shot a glare at the annoying Lycaeus and ignored him. She turned as the door opened, her sharp green eyes taking in the new camper without a word.

"Er, hi." Scott muttered. "I'm Scott, son of Hades. Who might you be?" He asked, trying to sound as polite as he could, but he was pretty sure that it wasn't working. Scott shuffled his feet. It had been years since he had met anyone else. He had ran away at age 11. Now, after 5 years of travel, he was 16 and had come to Camp Half-Blood.
Scott hoped that he sounded polite enough. After all, he hadn't met that many people when he was traveling. He looked around the room again, this time, paying attention to its details. There was a fridge in the corner, and a desk near him. Scott saw that the walls around him were blue, and he narrowed his eyes. He liked black, and wished that the Blue house would be the Black house.
Then, remembering that he was in front of a crowd, Scott made his eyes normal again and tried to smile, which was kind of hard for him because of his past.

Ginger tilted her head to the side, observing the newcomer. He seemed pretty uncomfortable with the big crowd. Interesting, demigods were usually pretty social people. But they did get the occasional shy kid. Oh well. Nothing a few camp activities couldn't get rid of!
She smiled brightly, "Ginger, daughter of Poseidon." She smiled, transfering her Coke to her left hand before extending her right to shake his hand.
Oh yes. Ginger was Ms. Social Butterfly when it came to welcoming the new campers. She had one of those bouncy personalities that couldn't help but make people perk up and become at least a bit happier. It was one of the qualities she got from her mother. Not that she liked to admit it, but she quite enjoyed being a people person.

Scott shook her hand. "Nice place." He muttered, looking around again, still shy. Like he had thought before, he hadn't met many people on his travels, and the usual people that did, weren't even people. They were monsters, who would gladly drop-kick him to Jupiter if they caught him.
"Daughter of Poseidon, huh?" Scott turned back to Ginger. "Sounds cool." He tilted his head at Ginger's Diet Coke. "What's that?" He asked, pointing to the can. "Diet Coke? I've never heard of it." But Scott was pretty sure that he sounded pretty stupid right there and then.

"Never heard of it?" Lycaeus brok into the conversation, his multi-colored eyes widening, one blue and the other brown. He had lived in Tartarus for most of his life (which had been a VERY long time), and he had heard of Coke before. In fact, he loved soda. It was the best. Sweet things were the best for his hyperactive self. He smiled brightly at Scott, and a hint of his fangs could be seen.
"Oops, sorry for butting in. How rude of me, I'm Lycaeus. That quiet girl over there is Lamia. She's not as intimidating as she looks." The wolf daemon jabbed a thumb behind him toward the green haired girl's direction.
