With great delight, Annie swirled up a water tornado and watched the water swirl around her.

Lamia wasn't really the type who liked to swim. She was walking along the edge of the lake and reading her book of plants for poisons. Her venom green eyes looked up and caught sight of Annie. She wasn't the sociable type, if she noticed her, she noticed her. if she didn't notice the snake daemon, she wouldn't complain either.

Aria walked on the water she did not see the human swimming in till she was splashed on and she quickly slid underneath the water scared. Then she came back up slowly and also saw the snake demon. She said "Hello you two. Why have you come to my lake?"

Lamia's attention snapped to a water spirit as she surfaced. Lamia shrugged with a bored expression. Her brillliant emrald green eyes were intoxicating. She held up her book. "Reading, and it's easy to do that in a quiet place like this."

Aria giggled and said "Well I'm flattered but this place is not very quiet. But I guess you are lucky that the other water spirits are not here."

Lamia shot her a look that meant she didn't understand and she really didn't care. "Then I guess I am lucky. I've visited this place many times before to know that it's quiet." She went back to reading, and settled down. She flipped a page, memorizing its contents.

Lamia masterfully ignored the water spirit's mumbling complaints. The snake daemon tilted her head, looking at a new page of plants. She pulled out her notebook and scribbled some notes.

Out of being bored Aria smiled and created a huge seat out of the water and sat down in it. Then she made a water crown a trident. She liked to do it only because she acted like a little girl sometimes.

Annie held her breath and let the water come around her. Letting out a gaping mouth, she eyed the snake daemon and water fae. With practiced ease, Annie clutched her ragdoll and exploded from the water.

Lamia looked up at the sound of the loud splash. That girl must have been a daughter of Posiedon. She was pretty skilled with her powers at such a young age. She held minimal interest in things like that however, so she went back to her book, muttering about plants.
