Caly Meer stood near Thalia's tree, her hair blowing in the wind. She was supposed to be dead. That was what everyone at camp thought. But she wasn't. She never was. She had faked her death.
She had done it to protect her friends. She had found out that a few monsters were after her, and threatened to hurt everyone she cared about. So, to protect them, she faked her death, and left camp, thinking she would never return. It had been hard, leaving camp. After Sam had slipped off, she hurried away, and left her old life behind. She had set off, determined to kill the monsters, and she had. They were all dead, and her friends were safe. After several months, it was safe to return to camp. She would see Ginger, and everyone else she knew.
So here she was, wondering how they'd react to seeing her. After all, they had thought she was dead.

The redhead had been climbing Thalia's pine tree, a bit of a feat, when she saw a familiar head of hair blowing in the wind below her. She looked closer, not daring to believe her eyes, it couldn't be her. She was suppose to be dead. Gone. Parted. But no, that head most definitely belonged to Caly Meer, the old Camp Director. She had gone missing almost 5 months ago while Ginger was away. No one had known where she had gone. It had been like Caly had just disappeared into the middle of the night.
Now that the fact that it was Caly had registered into her brain, she had to climb down. Not so easy a feat. Her hair got caught in the needles and a bunch of sap clung to her legs and arms. But she continued her way down the tree, not stopping until her hand stuck to a particularly sticky branch. In her hast to get down the tree quickly, she pulled it back, accidentally stabbing her hand with a small stick that was protruding from another branch. That was it. She wanted out of that tree. Now. But instead of screaming or kicking out, both of which wouldn't have helped, she let out a string of curses all in greek. Only moments after she realized that Caly probably could have heard her. Swearing was one thing that had always been a bit iffy at camp, even if it was in greek. Hopefully Caly hadn't heard...

Caly heard a noise behind her, what sounded like a little swearing. And it could only belong to one person. Ginger. She smiled a little. "Still have the same habits, huh Ginger?" She said with a laugh. "So, ya missed me?"

The redhead chuckled as she climbed and fell down the tree, landing with a thud on the ground beside Caly and Peleus. "I guess so!" She jumped up and hugged Caly, realizing only after she reliquished her hold that she was still cover in sap...
"Oops.." She muttered, "So where in Hades did you go?" She practically yelled, remembering why she was so surprised in the first place to see Caly.

She laughed, hugging her back, not really caring Ginger was getting sap on her. She sighed. "That's a long story. Basically, I was getting followed by this certain group of monsters. They threatened to kill everyone I cared about if I didn't leave camp. So I did. I spent the last several months hunting down them down, and when they were all dead, I came back."

The redhead nodded, that was a pretty normal reason for demigods. "Well that's awesome that your back!" She laughed, then she remembered the other reason she had been surprised to see Caly, "Is Adonis with you?" She asked quietly.

She shook her head. "No, I've been on my own the whole time." She replied, then sighed. "I should have left some sort of clue, or something, but I had to leave quite suddenly, and didn't really want to risk it. Besides, if I had said where I was going, you guys would have followed, and I couldn't risk that." (remind me,who is adonis? And is Sam gone?)

(Sam's not here anymore. Adonis was the guy I use to rp with a lot but he disappeared round November XD)
She let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding, "Oh."
Ginger looked down at her feet, well she had told herself not to get her hopes up. And she should be happy that Caly had made it back alive! So, dragging a smile onto her face she spoke, "Well I'm just happy your back!" She stated, hugging her again.
