Nike walked back in forth Frantically, she hadn't seen Athena for ages and she had started to worry. It seemed like everyday she would look down and hope an owl would come swooping up to her, yet she has not found that day yet. Nike felt a small tear racing down her cheek, then many more came down to. She could hear herself weeping. For the first time, she was losing, losing her good friend.

Athena had been busy. There had been a fascinating conference in New Zealand about Moari beliefs compared to other Polynesian beliefs and then comparing it to even more beliefs, such as Mediterranean religions, including Ancient Greece. Then there had been a talk about how th arrivial of Christianity in the area, brought by Europeans along with their superior technology and how it had changed the country and its wildlife. It had taken a few days and after that, Athena had visited a new acheological site in Germany, were prehistoric creatures were being unearthed. One of her children had been working there and he had told Athena some of his ideas about them. Of course, her son was mostly correct.
Then there had been a few other talks and museums that the Goddess of Wisdom had attended, before she returned to Olympus and there she found Nike, who was weapong. Athena paused, and looked towards the other Goddess in confusion. Then she realised that she had been away for a long time and her absence had not been announced. She had simply been incredibly busy. "Nike, everything is fine." Athena said, as one of the owls flew over and settled on Athena's shoulder, pecking affectionatly at the Goddess' hair.

Nike ran to Athena and hugged her tightly. She let her tears run freely. "I missed you so much!" Nike said. She jumped into the air and quickly did a flip and landed. "Where were you? Everyone was so worried, especially me."Nike said quickly. Then she looked at Athena's owl and patted it. It was such a beautiful one, it didn't come to her instantly but she had to ask what kind it was.

Athena was suprised by the tight hug, but she returned the hug, and looked at Nike with her grey eyes. It really had been a long time. "I'm sorry, but there was a fascinating conference on different religions in New Zealand. It lasted several days and then went onto how Christianity had brought new technology to new Zealand. After that, I visited one of my sons, who was working on a prehistoric dig in Germany. There was a lot of interesting places to visit." Athena said. "Has there been any interesting sporting events for you to attend?" Athena asked Nike, as her follow Goddess patted her owl, who was enjoyed the attention and affectionately nibbled at Nike's hand.

"Wow, you seemed busy, and yes I went to a basketball game. Luckily the team that I wanted to win won. The other team was way to lazy. I also went to a tennis match, and they had a raffle. I won a tennis racket that was made by Nike. Funny you know." Nike said. She remembered something and took something out of her back pocket. "This is the racket I won, and I want to give it to you, even if you never use it." Nike said smiling.
