"Hades!"
The yell echoed around the throne rooms cavernous walls. A very angry Persephone was walking around the room with a very purposful stance, a murderous look on her face as she searched for her husband.
The Goddess of Spring wasn't usually a violent person, but when her things were touched in her absence or when someone pushed her buttons just so, she became quite enraged. Usually her anger was directed at Hades minions or whomever she could find at the time. They weren't usually directed at the god himself. These bursts of anger weren't common, but when they occured, everyone knew to avoid her.
"Hades!" She yelled again, "Where in the gods names are you!" She was fuming, that much was obvious, but over what? They'd just have to wait and see...

(I'm guessing we are steering off of our original plot, yes? So I can play him again. xD)
Hades was actually quite busy, trying to deal with a monster fiasco that had happened earlier. Since when could they have their own brawl without his permission? The mortals were also getting more violent as well, killing here and there to the point where he had to make room in the Fields of Punishment and come up with a suitable kind of torture for them. The god was interrupted by the sound of Persephone's voice.
Hades had to resist rolling his hardened black eyes. By the sound of her yelling, she had to be in a bad mood. She wasn't frequently in a foul mood, so something had obviously set her off. Now that she just kept yelling, he couldn't help but feel frustrated as well as annoyed. His eyes turning an angry fire red. He let out a small sigh and tore himself away from his work.
"What is it?" The Lord of the Underworld's reply was more reserved despite his short temper being worn at. He wasn't one that liked loud noises, and his wife knew it. "What is it?" Hades spoke louder this time, walking into the room to find the goddess. "Calm down, for Olympus's sake. I swear if I were in the Isles of Blest I could still hear you. What's wrong?" He walked up to her calmly, slowly. His eyes had returned to their black color, wondering what ailed the Queen of the Underworld so much. Whatever it was, it had to be good.

(Ahaha, yaaa. I thought we should restart it, I still have no clue how many of the original people are coming back. Sooo, until then we just kind of go with the flow XD)
She whipped around, her blue eyes alive with fire, and started stocking towards Hades, stopping right in front of him. A glare of pure ice plastered over her usually pleasant and pretty face. "Someone, has been in my garden. I don't know who and I don't know when, but I want to find out now." She stated, punctuating every word with a poke to the God of the Underworld's chest. "My statues have been moved around and someone has trampled two of my pomegranate bushes!"
Ya. Not good. The garden in the underworld was like Persephone's life. It was her baby, she had started with only one bush and had slowly aquired this and that either from other gods and goddesses who visited the Underworld (which didn'e happen often) or when she was above ground. She had slowly nurtured it into a blooming wonderland. There were little stone paths and dinky stone benches no one actually used along with narcissus', pomegranates, numerous mosses and clover and many other unamable things. For her garden to have been touched in her absence, and to have not been informed, was to her, a national crisis.
"I want to know who was there and why." She said through gritted teeth, "Right. Now."

(Alright, that works.)
Hades was...surprised. When Persephone turned around, you could say he was somewhat amused. She was furious over something, that much was obvious. He had never really seen her make that face before. He held up his hands in mock surrender, trying not to laugh as she poked him. "Your garden?" The god of the Underworld played innocent. Well, technically, he was too lazy to replay any of the recently installed security cameras. That stupid guard ghost must have been sleeping or something during his job. He would see to that soon enough.
"Well, how am I supposed to know? I wasn't there. Too busy." Hades brushed aside a stray strand of hair from his wife's face. "Don't make that face. I'll see to it, okay?" He knew very well not to joke around with her when it was about her garden. It was always so carefully cultivated by her hand, after all. The garden was about the most important thing to her, and he knew it. Now that he thought about it, did he lose to the garden in terms of attention?

She just stared at him, her face still full of the anger she was currently feeling. "Yes my garden! Someone's touched everything!" She practically yelled, raising her hands from her sides for effect, "Some creepy soul or demon has been touching everything! And my pomegranate bushes! They squished half of the first one I planted there..." She finished, trailing off at the end as she remembered the poor bush.
It really had been beautiful. The bush had just started to flower, the orange blooms hadn't even opened! And now it was gone. All gone because there was some stupid security breach. "Your sure you saw nothing? What about those camero things you said you were installing? What happened to them?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest and continuing to glare at the god. In all honesty, she wasn't sure she still felt angry seeing as she was hardly ever angry. Instead she felt more... beat down and frustrated. Kind of like how she felt when her mother tried to put bows in her hair and dress her up as she had when Persephone was a child. There was also really nothing that could be done. No matter how much she fumed and how much she screamed, Hades wouldn't be able to fix it, she wouldn't be able to fix it and she certainly wasn't letting the ghosts in to try and fix it.

Hades gave her a sheepish shrug, noticing now that the goddess had calmed down slightly somewhat. With a rueful grin, he let out a sigh, "You know the ghosts. They aren't the best workers. They're installed, I'll go take a look at them. I'm really sorry about your bushes, alright? I'll get to it when I can."
The god's mind was working quickly, trying to eliminate those who ween't allowed into the garden in the first place. Who could it have been? Certainly not some regular ghosts. They would pass right through the bushes. It had to be the worker ghosts that he granted solidity, or maybe it had been some monsters playing around again. There had been a great deal of bickering. Maybe they had decided to have an arguement and then a wrestling tournament right in his wife's garden. Now that could not be allowed.

The Goddess looked a bit skeptical at first but slowly began to calm down, the fire draining from her eyes. At least something was being done about it. The damage couldn't be completely repaired, but they might be able to be fixed a bit. There was someone she knew that might be able to fix it. Although it might not make Hades the happiest... "I guess I could bring the plant to Mother... She might be able to heal it..." She said to herself
"Hades..." She asked, her voice soft, she sounded like she was picking her words carefully, "Do you think, I could maybe go up and see if Demeter can fix it? I know I still have 2 months here, but they'll let me come back..." She sounded unsure, but plowed on none the less, "I mean, it would only be for a day or two..."
She looked up from the ground and at her husband, praying that it would be okay. Although she did expect there to be a sizable explosion, or a bit of yelling. There was deffinitely going to be some dispute about it, but she would eventually convince him to let her go. Maybe.

Hades noticed the odd expression Persephone had when the anger had drained away. He knew something was coming, but he was sure he wouldn't like it from the look in her eyes. He stared at her, his solid black eyes beginning to melt and swirl from doubt.
The god listened to her request carefully, holding himself back. He didn't even want to know, but it was his duty as his husband to listen. At the mention of his sister, he tried not to groan. His eyes lit up a bright scarlet, the color of a blazing fire. He took a deep breath, and let it out slowly. "That woman gives me a headache." He turned around, rubbing his temples quickly to keep it from coming. The fact that his wife wanted to leave him to fix a bush made him upset-maybe more than upset. The walls of the palace shook for a moment before calming down. His eyes switched to a tired and wary gray, the color of murky fog. He knew the plant was important to her. She could always replant one. With her powers, it would flourish quickly again. He couldn't help but feel that maybe she just wanted to get away from him and the Underworld earlier. He didn't reply, feeling a migraine coming on.

As he spoke, the goddess began to nervously play with one of the sleeves hem's on her chiton, a look of confusion then apprehension appearing in her eyes as first he criticized her mother, then as the palace shook. She began to reach out to lightly lay her hand on his shoulder but then decided better and withdrew, her hand falling listlessly to her side.
"Hades..." She trailed off, attempting to think of something to say, "She's not that bad. And it would only be for a day or two" She finished lamely, knowing it would do close to nothing to sooth the gods temper.
She then drew up the bits and pieces of bravery that she had and placed her hand on his shoulder, an idea springing into her mind that would not please the Lord of the Dead but would grant her access to Demeter and her powers. "I guess I'll just have to ask mother to come and fix it here" She sighed, "You know, that might be a better idea. She hasn't come to visit us in the longest of times! She might even enjoy it!" She finished, trying to hide the smile that she could feel tugging on the corners of her lips.

Hades took a moment to recollect himself and control his rampant emotions. He gave Persephone a skeptical look, trying his best not to reply because he was sure he wouldn't be able to make his words kind about Demeter. He ended up failing this intention in the end, tragically. "She's not so pleasant as a sister..." He mumbled, tryimg to avoid letting his wife hear his words.
The Lord of the Underworld glanced at the Goddess of Springtime lovingly now that he had calmed himself a bit. He knee the underworld really wasn't a good place for her to stay all the time. He considered letting her leave for a moment. He placed his own hand on her warmer one on his shoulder, gently lifting hers off of him. Her second suggestiom was just as bad as her first. Maybe it was worse. He couldn't stand tje goddess' constant whining and complaining of things he couldn't fix. The lighting, colors, and lack of cereal im the Underworld were just a few of the problems he would never hear the end of. She was eternal with the Mount of things she could find wrong.
Hades let out a sigh, but this time, it was one of consent. "Very well, if you must have her here, then she can come." He doubted Demeter wanted to visit the realm of the dead anyway, if she hated it as much as she described it. Maybe she wouldn't come. He knew better than to hope for that. The Goddess of Harvest was both overprotective and overloving of her daughter. It was the only reason she started the whole complaining and making winter fiasco that he hadn't enjoyed one bit. She would come, and he knew it, but if there was a slight chance that she wouldn't, he still could hope. It wasn't that he hated his sister, it was just that after all these years of experiences, Demeter knew his pet peeves. She was still grudging about sharing Persephone. She seemed to love irrotating him because she simply had the ability to. Because he loved his wife, he was going to let it slide just this once. Hades was going to make an exception- maybe take an class from Plato in the Isles of Blest on how to ignore provocations.

The goddess looked at Hades, a slight smirk forming on her face as she did hear his comment. Okay, so Demeter coming was obviously not going to work. Which was just what she had wanted. Truth be told she hated when her mother came to visit. She was always complaining or telling the younger goddess that the black chiton's she had taken to wearing didn't compliment her skin tone. So of course she wasn't suspecting to hear what she had heard.
"E-Excuse me?" She stuttered, a look of shock etched onto her features, "You, Hades, God of the Underworld, want my mother, Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest, to come visit?"
By now, the contented smirk had vanished from her face, a look of pure shock and disbelief on her face. They weren't ready for a visit from her mother! Her garden was a mess! She couldn't let Demeter see that! And what about the drapes!? She had promised her mother she would change them before Demeter's next visit! And the rugs! They were simply covered in dirt and grime. No. Her mother could not be permitted to see how ramshackled the palace was. Persephone would never hear the end of it if her mother found out about her extremely bad housekeeping skills.
"Y-Your sure you want Demeter to come visit?" She asked tentatively, "And your feeling alright? Your not... sick or anything are you? Because last time I suggested mother come visit we had to remake the throne room..."
Maybe he was going crazy... She'd just have to wait and see.

Hades heard the doubt in her voice, and realized he must have sounded insane for permitting such a thing from happening. The fact that she had repeated the obvious only made his headache worse, and served to almost change his mind. "I said yes, didn't I?" Now he was getting a godly sized headache. He hoped Athena wasn't going to jump out of his head.
Hades looked over at his wife, noticing her shocked expression had a hint of something else within. It was almost like... "What, do you not want her to come?" He was feeling selfish today, and wanted Persephone to himself. Besides, if she went up early, spring would come early, and the cycle would be wrecked and the little stupid mortal would run about panicking about their global warming theory.
"Can you not take care of it all?" The god asked, turning back to her. "I can always help you with the remodeling." Which he doubted he could be much help in. He didn't know much about how these were supposed to be styled in Demeter's eyes. Everything had to be less dreary...well, e liked dreary! It got to you after a billion decades of ruling the Underworld. Now that Persephone looked like she was about to decline having her mother over herself was a good sign. Maybe he could avoid having his sister over all together.

She nodded, allowing her eyes to glaze over for a couple seconds before lightly shaking her head and returning to reality. If Hades was saying yes to a visit from Demeter, her mother Demeter, then the stress must have really been piling up. She usually had to plead and prod to get him to even consider letting the older Goddess come. Usually she ended up with an Iris message but even that was a rare occurrence.
At his words she cast her eyes about the room for something to look at, anything but the other god would work. Not finding anything, she decided to once again look at her feet. Why were they always what she looked at? They weren't that interesting, just regular feet with regular shoes. But to her? They were more interesting than anything else at this moment in time.
"Well, it's not that I don't want her to come..." She mumbled, chewing on her bottom lip as she spoke and playing with a stray thread on the sleeve of her chiton. She hated it when her mother came. It was always a horribly fluffy and pink experience. Her garden wouldn't be helped. It would be completely transformed into a perfectly prim and proper world. Which would be the complete opposite to what it was now. She loved how the trees weren't trimmed to perfection and that the flowers were allowed to grow where they wanted and not where she wanted.
Upon hearing the gods next words, that he would help fix the damage, her head snapped up, her blue eyes wide and a cross between and smile and a smirk gracing her lips, "You'll help? And you'll fix it however I tell you?" She asked, a look of satisfactory glee on her face. Who was to say it wasn't her plan all along? After all, Hades would never have agreed to help her fix the garden in a normal circumstance.

Hades noticed that the goddess was taking interest in anything but him, looking around and avoiding his gaze. He blinked, his eyes turning a smog gray. "Oh." He knew she wouldn't have denied the offer. He guessed he just felt kind today. He would give her mother's visit to her as a little early parting gift before the spring came.
The Lord of the Underworld realized his mistake about agreeing to help. The look she was giving him was a devious one, and he was immediately positive that she was plotting something. Hearing her words, he let out a little sigh. He had already let it slide, so there was nothing he could do. He swallowed, mouth feeling suddenly and oddly dry. He had a hard time getting the words out of his crammed throat. He was already incredibly busy as it was, but he had told her he would aid her in the heat of the moment just to appease her. He didn't like seeing his wife upset, and not just because she was annoying sometimes when she was.
"Uhm.." Hades finally managed to force the words out from his gritted teeth. "Yes, I'll help you, so does your mother really have to come if I help you?" He was trying to wriggle at least the worst part out of it all.

Persephone~
The goddess got a wicked gleam in her eye as she watched Hades struggle with his words. It was oh so nice really that he had offered. That was what she'd wanted all along, afterall, she hated when her mother came to visit and she found it quite interesting that he hadn't remembered her loathing the visits. She nodded happily as he finally said he would help her then listened when he asked if her mother could then not come for a visit as she had originally requested. Now that was an interesting topic. She didn't want to say no right away in case she needed to use it as a bargaining chip later, but she didn't want to say yes either...
"Well... I guess if you promise to help me until I'm completely satisfied with it again, then no, Mother doesn't have to come for a visit." She stated, happy that they had come to an understanding, "But if you don't keep your promise I'll just have to bring her with me when I come back from Olympus next time. Then she can stay with us for those 6 months to!" She added, her eyes bright and a slight smirk on her face. She loved being able to manipulate things. It was such a nice change from the obedience required of her when she was with Demeter.
"So Darling, does that work for you?" She asked, once again biting her lip. If this part of the plan didn't work then she'd have an itsy bitsy problem on her hands. Because if he said he would help, it was fine. But if he decided not to, or to get one of his minions to help her instead, then she would have a problem. And she'd be angrier then before, which wouldn't be pretty.
